WORSHIP

“O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God! I’m energized every time I enter your heavenly sanctuary to seek more of your power and drink in more of your glory. For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God! Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else. You are such a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul.” –  Psalms 63:1-5 TPT

PURSUE HIS PRESENCE

At Spirit Life we passionately pursue His Presence and encounters with Him, we seek more of His Spirit and His power. And to do that, we need to be SPIRITUALLY hungry.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” –  Matthew 5:6

When you study revivals throughout church history, you see that moves of God come to hungry people, and through hungry people. The Holy Spirit responds to our desire for Him and His power. In Acts chapter 2, the believers were waiting on God, united in prayer, in anticipation of receiving the Holy Spirit. He was poured out on the Day of Pentecost. Later, in Acts chapter 4, the church was crying out to God in fervent prayer. The Holy Spirit came and shook the building, filling God’s people with boldness.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.’ –  Psalm 34:8

The more you encounter His presence, the more you will hunger for more. And most amazing of all, you will discover that no matter how much you long for God, and how much you hunger for Him, His desire for you is greater.
